Asian Journal of Gambling Issues and Public Health

In the last two decades, there has been an unprecedented expansion of legalized gambling worldwide, especially within the Asia-Pacific region. Such explosive growth generates both benefits and significant social and economic costs. From a public health perspective, the development of responsible social policies is essential in addressing problems and preventing potential harms associated with gambling.

Asian Journal of Gambling Issues and Public Health (AJGI&PH), published online by SpringerOpen, is an English peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal on gambling issues. The journal provides an international free-access platform for scholars, experts and practitioners within and outside Asian regions to exchange experiences in gambling research, prevention, treatment and policy advocacy.

The journal welcomes submissions of original research papers, book reviews, policy discussions, clinical case conferences and service evaluation which contribute to knowledge advancement and inspiration.
