The COVID-19 pandemic has been seriously affecting all businesses and all walks of life. At PolyU, we are particularly concerned with the financial challenges faced by some of our students and their families due to the current situation. Therefore, we have decided to establish the PolyU COVID-19 Student Support Fund to provide assistance to our students who are greatly affected by this pandemic.
The Fund aims to alleviate the unexpected financial hardship of PolyU students due to the outbreak of the COVID-19; strengthen the spirit of solidarity of thePolyU community to tide over the difficult times; and enhance the resilience of our students. Eligible students* can apply for the Fund. The Fund will be open for applications from students in May.
To kick-start the Fund, PolyU’s management team will donate 10% of their salaries over a period of 12 months from April 2020 to help students in need during this unprecedented crisis.
We encourage members of the PolyU community and our supporters to contribute to this meaningful cause. If you are interested in supporting the PolyU COVID-19 Student Support Fund, please click Give Online button below to donate. Choose “Other” and specify “Student Support Fund” in the “Purpose of Donation” section. Donations of $100 or above are tax-deductible.

We are all experiencing a trying time, we firmly believe that through care and collaboration, resilience and solidarity, we can overcome the challenges. Your donation will be able to help our students to move ahead with confidence and facilitate their all-round development. PolyU will continue to invest in our future, and the next generations.
